Before & After
What is a lasertone photorejuvenation
facial?
A
Lasertone Facial is a laser
protocol using the VersaPulse
Aesthetic Laser System. This
treatment potentially uses 4
different lasers to achieve
the following:
-
Treat fine wrinkles,
firm the skin and
tighten pores by working
beneath the epidermis to
increase collagen regrowth.
-
Erase sun damage
by fading the melanin in
these areas.
-
Remove unwanted facial veins.
-
Manage the effects of
rosacea.
Three
treatments are performed four
weeks apart. This
photorejuvenation treatment is
great for both men and women
alike and can be performed over
a lunch hour.
Who is a candidate for a lasertone photorejuvenation
facial?
Men and women of all ages with
mild to moderate wrinkles are a
candidate for Photorejuvenation.
Patients with irregular skin
tone, large pores, sun damage
and facial veins can benefit
from this procedure.
Photorejuvenation will tighten
the skin, lessen lines and
wrinkles and reduce redness and
vessels on the face and neck.
Some patients have noticed an
improvement with acne breakouts
as well. All skin tones can
benefit from Photorejuvenation
with the VersaPulse Aesthetic
Laser System.
What precautions should be
taken before treatment?
Photorejuvenation is not
recommended for persons with
recent sun exposure or upcoming
vacations involving excess
sunlight. The UVA-UVB rays from
the sun may cause temporary side
effects such as:
hypopigmentation (a lightening
of the skin) or
hyperpigmentation (a darkening
of the skin), blisters, swelling
and a very low chance of
scarring. Using a sunscreen will
greatly reduce the risk of side
effects and ensure a great
result. Patients using skin care
products such as Retin-A,
Retinol, AHA, glycolic acid
products should discontinue
these products two weeks before
and two weeks after treatment to
assure the fastest recovery time
possible after Photorejuvenation.
How much time shall I allow
for recovering from photorejuvenation?
Absolutely none.
Photorejuvenation can be
performed on your lunch hour.
After the procedure you may have
a slight redness or rosy glow
for the first day. Make up can
be put on immediately. You could
return to work, give a speech or
presentation or visit your
mother-in-law in total
confidence!
What is lasertone
photorejuvenation not
recommended for?
Excess skin on the eye lids,
jowls and chin, deep facial
lines or deep acne scarring.
These problems would require
more invasive procedures such as
a CO2 laser or surgical
intervention.
What is lasertone photorejuvenation
recommended for?
Fine wrinkles, sun damage, age
spots, rosacea, facial veins.
It’s like a mini facelift with
no down time!
